ORCO launches new range of organic spices

Organic spices company ORCO adds 32 new spices and condiments to its range of certified products.

India organic spices market is valued at an estimated $ 200 million in FY 2020 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11% through FY 2026. The reasons include growing awareness about harmful effects about chemicals and pesticides, and popularity of ethnic and exotic food, according to TechSci Research report on India organic spices market.

Taking a cue from the positive sentiment, ORCO or Organic Condiments has launched 32 new organic condiments and spices, adding to its portfolio of natural and certified organic condiments and spices.

After a successful run in first three years with their introductory range of 24 spices and mixed blends, the brand is now set to launch the new range of products, including varieties of dry fruits and seeds.

The new organic products include black pepper whole, green cardamom whole, nutmeg, garlic granule, onion flakes, natural sesame seed, cinnamon whole, black mustard, raisins, ginger powder, black chia seed, flax seed,  sunflower seeds.

Announcing the launch, Pragya Agarwal, Co-Founder, ORCO, says, “We are very excited about our latest range through which we strive to expand our horizons by including superfoods too in our portfolio catering to multiple segments of the population across India.”

ORCO claims its spices are free of pesticides or any other hazardous chemicals; and are hand-ground on a hand mill (chakki) to retain their natural properties, taste, colour and aroma.

The brand offers certified organic and ready to eat handmade products by their all-women workforce worldwide and endeavours to expand its collection even further with superfood FMCG products that are 100% clean and healthy.

ORCO lab tests all its products and holds certifications from FSSAI, USDA, EU APFPED, ONE CERT, USDA, India Organic, Javik Bharat.

The entire range by ORCO will be available in more than 100 retail stores including Modern Bazaar, Krishna Super Marche, Honey Money Top, etc. They can also be procured online through their portal and Flipkart, Sokastore, Amazon and Organikness.

ORCO is competing with major players like Geo Fresh Organic, Carmel Organics, Live Organics, PDS Organic Spices, Pro Nature Organic Foods, McCormick India, Earthen Delight Agro Products, Simply Organic, West India Spices Inc., Starwest Botanicals, The Spice Hunter, Yogi Botanicals, The Spice House, among others.
