Most philanthropic cities in India – 2020

Mumbai is on top of the list of philanthropic cities of India, and it is followed by New Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, London, Kolkata and Dubai.

With 36 big-ticket individual donors, Mumbai is the philanthropy capital of India, followed by New Delhi and Bengaluru. Indian corporates prefer to donate on a pan India basis than limiting their focus to HQ locations. Other cities in the list of top most philanthropic sities include Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, London, Kolkata and Dubai, according to EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2020.
